I just finished watching The Wire last week (it was being shown in weekly installments on DirecTV for free). I'm sure most of you have already seen it, but if you haven't I would highly recommend it. I'm not a big drama guy as I find it hard to see past the phoniness of actors who are, well, acting, but this really sucked me in. Some of these kids doing the acting, I find it hard to believe that they're faking it. It all comes through very naturally for the most part.

And the story is fantastic. After watching the final episode before work last week, I was bummed out the whole rest of the day.

i loved it, it's among my top shows ever.
