Hey now -
I know there are some of you up here in WA so I thought I would ask... having a bit of trouble finding the information that covers this.
I acquired an old revolver from my father - Mod. RG 14, Cal .22 LR, 7/8" barrel - and brought it back with me from AZ (in a lockbox, packed in a box, WAY back in the truck of my car). Now I'm thinking I need to register it, but the only thing I can find info on is getting a permit to conceal-carry (
http://www.dol.wa.gov/business/firearms/). Yes, I know that this model has a reputation as a POS, but it's just the cutest little thing!
The other thing is that I don't have the provenance for it - so I have no idea when/where it was purchased or how it was used (Heaven forbid in a crime). I'm pretty confident that that isn't anything to worry with regards to my Dad (and the weapon's rep) - but want to be careful nonetheless. There does seem to be a number stamped on the bottom of the handgrip, but that seems a silly place to put a ID number.
Seems in pretty good condition, just needs a cleaning.
So - asking advice here, and who better to ask than y'all!
Thanks everyone!
