Just saw a promotion for this on IGN. Firefall is a futuristic mmo shooter whose plot is being penned by orson scott card, and looks pretty good from the videos I watched.

Ooo, I wonder if they changed much since closed beta. It's a pretty fun game, but a couple months ago all it was was meld thumping to SLOWLY level up your battleframes...

This week is the week before finals, and between that and the new baby I have very little free time atm, so I was unable to play this over the weekend.

Did anyone happen to try it out, and have any thoughts on it?
